Position Overview
Behavioral Health Interventions of Greater St. Louis is seeking an energetic, diligent, self-motivated and articulate team player to join its staff as a Building Care Specialist. This position offers the opportunity to participate in a broad range of program operations as part of a professional, team-oriented organization.
The Clerical Support Specialist reports directly to the Operations Manager.
The Clerical Support Specialist will play a supportive-on role in the organization's day-to-day administration, working in close partnership with the organization's executive director and and the rest of the administrative team to carry out and manage the daily functions of the organization's activities to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
The role involves direct involvement in the administrative oversight of processes at such pertains to the organizations's compliance and navigation of Office Support Specialist practices which includes, but is not limited to ; serving as a technical and professional resource to the organization and with executive director oversight responsibility for Office Support Specialist practices of the organization including but not limited to the engagement of state, federal, and other program licensing/certification compliance,and communications related to Building Care Specialist practices.
Applicants who have previous Office Support Specialist experience as a credentialed practitioner as it regards direct-clinical care, multi-program administration, and communications experience are preferred. A solid understanding of Office Support Specialist responsibilites and related tasks and strategies is a requirement.
The position will begin mid-summer 2022 to assist the organization's president/CEO with specific tasks, which include creating/updating the billing administration portion of employee manuals and handbooks, event planning,transition correspondence, publication management and special projects related to Counseling, Therapy, and other related responsibilities. Details of responsibilites to be further defined upon hire. In 2022 and beyond, the role will be expanded as described. The Office Support Specialist reports to the Operations Manager
Scope of Responsibilities
Greeting and directing visitors, answering phone inquiries and handling complaints in a courteous, professional manner
Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries..
Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
Operates telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Assist in ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times
Occasionally traveling off-site to provide support for professional development and other training/staff related events.
Support staff efforts in insuring the confidentiality and security of agency information systems.
Assist in coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos and reports and ensuring that everyone is kept current of necessary company news and information
Operating copy equipment, fax machines, printers or other equipment necessary
Assist with agency trainings and other presentations
Assist in monitoring of day to day administrative and related functions throughout the organization
Assist in the development, maintainance, and monitoring of the task calander system throughout the organization
Other related duties as needed

Currently posess or ability to obtain Certification from appropriate training program in the state of Missouri
3-5 years of extensive Receptionist/Secretarial experience.
Works well independently and has strong time management skills..
Follows written and verbal instructions from the designated leadership.
Collaborates with other team members as needed.
Ability to work proficiently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills
Strong familiarity with secretarial and receptionist procedures, supplies, and equipment
Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending,

climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Clinical Environment Management software and familiarity with specific evidence-based interventions, including preparation of data displays and reports.

Salary and Application Information
Salary range is $25,500-$31,000 FTE, depending on qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits
include health, dental and 401(k) retirement plan. Position begins as soon as possible.
